2025 marks a major milestone for us at the Fraser Valley India — we’re celebrating 20 years of academic excellence and student success!
To commemorate this remarkable journey, we are proud to introduce a special Entrance Scholarship for all students enrolling at Fraser Valley India during our 20th year.


20 Years, INR 200,000 Scholarship
As part of our celebrations, every student who enrolls at Fraser Valley India in 2025 will be eligible for an Entrance Scholarship of INR 200,000. This scholarship reflects our commitment to making high-quality Canadian education more accessible, and to recognizing the trust and support we’ve received from students and families across India over the past two decades.

Excellence Awards

This category of award recognises the current FVI student for her/his outstanding academic performance in the last academic year for each intake. Outstanding academic performance refers to a CGPA of 3.67 and above in the last academic year.

Each scholarship award is valued at INR 25,000

  • Student must have scored the highest CGPA in the last academic year.
  • Student must have a minimum CGPA of 3.67 in the last academic year.
  • Student must have completed at least 30 credits in the last academic year.
  • Student should not be on any kind of academic/non-academic probation.
  • In case of a tie, UFV India reserves the right to take the final decision.

Opinder Dhaliwal,
Academic Excellence Award

The Opinder Dhaliwal Academic Excellence Award honors UFV India alumnus Opinder Dhaliwal (Class of 2014), who maintained an outstanding academic record before his untimely passing on December 15, 2015.

In recognition of his achievements, Opinder’s family and UFV India established this scholarship on March 23, 2017. The award celebrates a current FVI student with exceptional academic performance—defined as a CGPA of 4.03 or higher (matching Opinder’s graduating CGPA) in the most recent academic year across all undergraduate programs.

Funded jointly by Opinder’s family and UFV India (INR 24,000 each), the scholarship totals INR 48,000, awarded annually to one deserving student, keeping Opinder’s legacy of excellence alive.

Is there a limit to the number of scholarships a student can receive?


All incoming students in the Fall 2025 intake are eligible for the Special Entrance Scholarship. In addition, the Entrance Scholarship is awarded to the top three students only with the highest Grade 12 percentages.

However, returning students can qualify for Continued Academic Excellence Scholarships each year based on their performance.

Required documents typically include academic transcripts, proof of co-curricular achievements (if applicable), and a completed scholarship application form. Specific requirements may vary for each scholarship.
