What it takes to qualify for the pathway program leading to Canadian degrees.

Here’s What You Need to Start your Global Degree in Chandigarh

  • 65% in Grade 12th examinations for Experiential Business Program.
  • 60% in Grade 12th examinations for Experiential Technology Program.
  • 60% in Grade 12thexaminations for Experiential Liberal Arts program.


English Language Requirement, meet any one of the following:

  • 65% in Grade 12 English, OR
  • IELTS – score of at least 6.5 with no individual band less than 6, OR
  • TOEFL – score of at least 570 (or 230 if computer-based score), plus a minimum
  • TWE (essay) score of 4.5, or IBT score of 88 with no section below 20.
  • Pearson Testing Exam (PTE) – 60 overall, with a minimum of 58 in each module
Note: Passing marks in Grade 10 Mathematics is mandatory for all programs.

As part of our celebrations, every student who enrolls at Fraser Valley India in 2025 will be eligible for an Entrance Scholarship of INR 200,000. Excellence Awards

This category of award recognises the current FVI student for her/his outstanding academic performance in the last academic year for each intake. Outstanding academic performance refers to a CGPA of 3.67 and above in the last academic year.

Each scholarship award is valued at INR 25,000

  • Student must have scored the highest CGPA in the last academic year.
  • Student must have a minimum CGPA of 3.67 in the last academic year.
  • Student must have completed at least 30 credits in the last academic year.
  • Student should not be on any kind of academic/non-academic probation.
  • In case of a tie, UFV India reserves the right to take the final decision.

Opinder Dhaliwal, Academic Excellence Award

The Opinder Dhaliwal Academic Excellence Award honors UFV India alumnus Opinder Dhaliwal (Class of 2014), who maintained an outstanding academic record before his untimely passing on December 15, 2015.

In recognition of his achievements, Opinder’s family and UFV India established this scholarship on March 23, 2017. The award celebrates a current FVI student with exceptional academic performance—defined as a CGPA of 4.03 or higher (matching Opinder’s graduating CGPA) in the most recent academic year across all undergraduate programs.

Funded jointly by Opinder’s family and UFV India (INR 24,000 each), the scholarship totals INR 48,000, awarded annually to one deserving student, keeping Opinder’s legacy of excellence alive.
