BIOGRAPHY

Anand Kishore is born and raised in India and did his schooling in Mumbai and majority of his professional career was in New Delhi. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Business (Commerce) from St. Xavier’s college and obtained his M.B.A. from Xavier Institute, India with majors in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations. After immigrating to Canada, he upgraded his professional skills further and acquired several professional qualifications such as CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources, Canada), SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management, USA) Certificate in Management (Canada), Certified Organizational Coach (USA/Canada), and CCP (Certified Career Practitioner/Career Counsellor). Currently, he is finishing his PhD.

He has worked with large multinational companies in India and abroad at corporate level as a General Manager (HR, IR, Admn., and Training), in UAE, Oman and Canada, He has worked for over 25 years in companies employing over 20,000 people.

In Canada, he has held senior management position as a Corporate General Manager. Thereafter, he moved on as Manager Career Services to manage Federal and Provincial government funded programs and successfully managed and administered the programs in coordination with the respective ministries.

As a President, he manages Devoir Consultants Group that provides Corporate Training, professional consultancy services to businesses in setting up customised training programs, HR policies and procedures and assessment of specialised training needs.

For over 17 years now, he has been teaching BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) courses in leading Canadian Universities in British Columbia. Anand has, on selective basis, conducted workshops nationally and internationally on “Organizational Change and Adaptability” that has not only improved the productivity of the employees but has also shown improvements in employees accepting or adapting to change constructively. He is also a visiting faculty member for the GFSU (Gujarat Forensic Science University) Gujarat, India, one of its kind in the world that provides education on Forensic Science.

Anand has been also actively involved in the community development programs in Canada, India and Middle East. Some of the Awards and key positions that he held are.

  • UFV President, Dr. Mark Evered, awarded Kishore and his team of students for exemplary performance in a global competition. While teaching at UFV Chandigarh India, a team of students who worked under his guidance competed with 2000 universities globally to simulate an exercise of managing business in which UFV students ranked number 1.
