BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur has joined UFV India as a visiting faculty. She is a Fellow of Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. Her area of research has been ‘Emotional Intelligence’ with specific focus on its relevance in the organizational context.

She has taught courses like Business Environment, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Business Communication, Labour Legislation at graduate and post graduate level at institutes such as SAS Institute of Information Technology & Research, Mohali, ICFAI Business School, IIPM,  Mohali, UBS, Punjab University and CIIS, Jalvehra.

During her doctoral programme , she got the opportunity to attend workshops focussed on ‘Enhancing Emotional Intelligence’. She has also  conducted a two day training programme in association with ‘Indian Institute for Materials Management’  for ‘Enhancing Emotional Intelligence’ for corporate sector in Chandigarh.

She has participated in advanced level of human sensitivity training programs conducted by ISABS, India. She has also presented her paper ‘Emotional Intelligence: Exploring its Relevance for Senior Managers’ in a conference conducted by South Asian Management Forum (SAMF) in Lahore.

She is a member of Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD)
