BIOGRAPHY

Sushil Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the area of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. He is currently pursuing Fellow Program in Management (FPM) under the Department of Business Policy and Strategic Management at Indian Institute of Management Raipur India. He has completed MPhil with specialization in Planning and Development from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and pursued Master in Social Entrepreneurship (MBA equivalent) from the School of Management and Labor Studies at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.

In addition to being a member of the Strategic Management Society, (2017- 2018) and the Academy of International Business (2017-2018), he was also the Executive Coordinator for Global Summit for Corporate Social Responsibility (GSCSR), IIM Raipur, 2015. He carries industrial experience working with Nidan Microfinance as their Chief Operations Manager. 

His current researches are primarily in the areas of entrepreneurship and venture creation process, family business, competitive strategy, corporate strategy, international business, international entrepreneurship, emerging economies, and corporate social responsibility. He has published research papers in reputed management journals indexed in ABDC and SSCI. He has also published a management case with IVEY case publishing. He is currently working on a few research papers targeted at Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. He has presented papers in international conferences organized by Strategic Management Society (SMS) at Hyderabad India and Sau Palo, Brazil, Academy of International Business (AIB), and Pan IIM conferences held in India.
