Scholarships and awards

Be recognized for outstanding achievement

Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships

Students enrolling in the Fall Intake of the Business Administration Pathway Program (BBA), Computer Information Systems Pathway Program (BCIS) and Liberal Arts Pathway Program (BA) fall under this category.

  • INR 1,00,000 – Awarded to the student from the new intake with the highest grade 12 percentage.
  • INR 75,000 – Awarded to the student from the new intake with the second highest grade 12 percentage.
  • INR 50,000 – Awarded to the student from the new intake with the third highest grade 12 percentage.

Students enrolling in the Winter Intake of the Business Administration Pathway Program (BBA) and Computer Information Systems Pathway Program (BCIS) fall under this category.

  • INR 75,000 – Awarded to the student from the new intake with the highest grade 12 percentage.

Note:

  • This category is not restricted to any specific pathway program.
  • Students across all undergraduate programs will be considered all together.
  • Student must have a score of 90% or more across 5 subjects in grade 12 (English mandatory).
  • Student should not be on any kind of academic/non-academic probation.
  • In case of a tie, we reserve the right to take the final decision.

Graduate Entrance Scholarships

Students enrolling in the Fall Intake of the Management Post Baccalaureate Certificate (MPBC) fall under this category. INR 50,000 is awarded to the student with the highest graduation score (across all semesters/years).

Note:

  • Student must have a score of 80% or more in graduation (English mandatory).
  • Student should not be on any kind of academic/non-academic probation.
  • In case of a tie, we reserve the right to take the final decision.

Continued Academic Excellence Awards

For Undergraduate programs:

This category of award recognizes current students for their outstanding academic performance in the last academic year for each intake. Outstanding academic performance refers to a CGPA of 3.67 and above in the last academic year.

INR 25,000 is awarded to the deserving candidate. For every program intake, the number of awards varies on the number of sections for that intake. The awardee is not selected from every section but from the entire batch. The number of awards varies every year.

Note:

  • Student must have scored the highest CGPA in the last academic year.
  • Student must have a minimum CGPA of 3.67 in the last academic year.
  • Student must have completed at least 30 credits in the last academic year.
  • Student should not be on any kind of academic/non-academic probation.
  • In case of a tie, we reserve the right to take the final decision.

For Graduate program:

This category of award recognizes a current student for her/his outstanding academic performance in the last academic year in the Management Post Baccalaureate Certificate (MPBC). Outstanding academic performance refers to a CGPA of 4.00 and above in the last academic year. INR 25,000 is awarded to the deserving candidate. For every intake, the number of awards varies on the number of sections for that intake. The awardee is not selected from every section but from the entire batch. The number of awards varies every year.

Note:

  • Student must have scored the highest CGPA in the last academic year.
  • Student must have a CGPA of 4.00 in the last academic year.
  • Student must have completed at least 27 credits in the last academic year.
  • Student should not be on any kind of academic/non-academic probation.
  • In case of a tie, we reserve the right to take the final decision.

Terms and conditions

  1. The award is for a continuing student only (including the ones who transferred to UFV Canada for the immediate academic year succeeding the academic year for which the scholarship is being awarded.
  2. The final decision on the award rests with the university.
  3. If the student is being awarded any other scholarship, (s)he will not be eligible for ‘Continued Academic Excellence Award’ as the university aims to reward as many students as possible.
  4. If no student is eligible under any category, the university reserves the right to decide how that category can be utilized.
